WASPS AND HORNETS

F & D  Pest Control originally started out as Bee Keepers and quickly moved into removing Honeybee swarms then wasps nests and hornets. Both the owner (Directors) of the company are Master Bee Keepers and member of the British Bee Keepers Association. In 2023 both Partners took further examinations on wasps and hornets and insect control.

F & D are strong believers in ethical removal and in the case of honeybees will ALWAYS endeavour to get the bees out of a property whether it be commercial or domestic alive and will then re-home the bees on their own farm where there is already a well equipped Apiary .

In the case of  wasps and  hornets F & D still acknowledge that these are both important for pollinating BUT will always put the health and safety of people first . Where it is possible F & D will use NON TOXIC Poisons to get rid of Wasps .

It is a old wives tale that leaving a wasp nest in situ will stop wasps from making nests in future , Other insects such as Beetle, Tree bees etc will always make use of an old wasp nest it is ALWAYS best to remove nests including old nests if at all possible.
